St Astier Market - Every Thursday

Every Thursday morning a thriving local French market comes a stones’ throw from the front door – grab your shopping basket and enjoy! A smaller organic market can be found in the market square on a Sunday morning.

THE TOWN / LOCAL AREA AND THINGS TO DO

The property provides a quiet, private oasis in the heart of the small market town of St Astier on the river Isle. A choice of boulangeries, restaurants and cafes are within a couple of minutes walk from the house.

During the summer the town and local chateau play host to annual events including antiques fairs, music festivals and occasional night markets with outstanding fireworks on the river. All are free of charge and wonderful fun for young children, teenages and adults alike.
